Sunset with dolphins excursion
The dolphins excursion starts at 18:30 in Fazana at the city harbor and takes about 2 hours.
Captains of the boats are in winter fishermans and know the best places to see them.
Last years success was over 95%. Brijuni National park is really close to Fazana and 300m of the islands of the national park is forbidden fishing. Taking that into consideration there is truly a big chance of seeing the dolphins.
A boat tour to see the dolphins at sunset is one of the highlights of a holiday in Istria. Fazana and Pula are among the dolphin capitals of the Istria and Croatia region.
The excursion is ideal for nature lovers and families with children. Bottlenose dolphins (flippers) and striped dolphins can be seen in the Adriatic. The animals are not fed in Croatia but can be seen in the wild! Our captains adhere to the codex for dolphin sightings.
The boat tour is barrier-free. Dogs are welcome on board. A detailed description of the route will be sent by email with the booking confirmation / ticket.
Easy cancellation with a refund or rebooking (subject to availability) up to 24 hours before the start of the excursion. Groups of 15 people or more – please inquire by email.

Boat will sail towards the east side of the Brijuni National Park at search for the dolphins there. Captain and tourist guide work together with the boats from Pula in searching for the dolphins. If a boat from Pula sees dolphins before us, captain will sail straight where the dolphins are.
Our captains live in Fazana and know Fazana archipelago very well. In winter they go fishing so they know the spots where is a big probability to see the dolphins.
4.Pause for watching
When the captain sees the dolphins boat will come to a stop. Sometimes dolphins swim so we sail with them. Pause for seeing the dolphins depends on the time when we see them. Usually a pause is for about 30 minutes.
5. Return to Fazana
After seeing the dolphins it is time to sail back to Fazana. Boat returns usually around 21:00
